Work Permit (Foreign Worker) - After you apply
Collection of Work Permit
Upon approval of the request for issuance of the Work Permit, the Foreign Worker (FW) should proceed to the Work Pass Services Centre with the Work Permit issuance notification letter within seven days for fingerprinting and photo imaging. The Work Permit card will subsequently be ready for collection in four working days.
Pending collection of the Work Permit card, the Foreign Worker is advised to retain the letter as evidence that the worker is permitted to continue employment with the employer stated on the letter. As the Work Permit card is for identification purpose, the worker is strongly advised to collect the card on the date specified and carry the card at all times to avoid misunderstanding encountered with the law enforcement agencies.
