Employers are generally required to advertise a job position on Jobs Bank for 14 calendar days before they can apply for an Employment Pass (EP) for that position.
However, you will need to extend the advertising for another full 14-day period if you make major changes during this period in any of the following areas:
- Salary offered (e.g. change from $5,000 to $10,000)
- Occupation (e.g. change from engineer to accountant)
- Number of vacancies available (e.g. change from 10 to 20)
